Our Approach to Mental Health & Addiction Treatment

The expert, compassionate care provided at each of Haven’s acute-care behavioral hospitals offers relief from the debilitating symptoms of mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, borderline personality disorder, PTSD, ADHD, bipolar disorder, psychosis, and schizophrenia, as well as treatment for the devastating effects of alcohol and drug addiction.

Haven’s facilities offer intensive inpatient and outpatient (in some markets) treatment, and the level of care is customized for each patient after completing a comprehensive assessment. The physicians, nurses, social workers, therapists and other specialists at our hospitals will collaborate with you to develop to establish a robust, individualized treatment plan designed to get you back to feeling like yourself again. No matter the level of treatment, you will be an active participant in your care. We’ll partner with your other doctors to maximize your chances for long-term recovery.

Each hospital encourages your family and friends to be involved as much as possible, during and after treatment. Your care team will work with you and your family or support system to establish a detailed plan for further therapy or other treatments after discharge.
