Our Approach to Mental Health & Addiction Treatment

Haven Behavioral Hospitals offer expert, compassionate care for the often debilitating symptoms of mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, borderline personality disorder, PTSD, ADHD, bipolar disorder, psychosis and schizophrenia, as well as treatment for substance use disorder.

Haven’s facilities offer intensive inpatient and outpatient (in some markets) treatment, and the level of care is customized for each patient after completing a comprehensive assessment. The physicians, nurses, social workers, therapists and other specialists at our hospitals collaborate with you to establish a robust, individualized treatment plan designed for your wellbeing. No matter the level of treatment, you will be an active participant in your care. We’ll partner with your and other members of your treatment team with the goal of long-term recovery.

Each hospital encourages involvement from your support system. Your care team will work with you and your designated caregivers to establish a detailed plan for further therapy or other treatments after discharge.

You are not your illness or addiction. In our facilities, you’ll always be treated with respect, dignity, equality and compassion.

Through compassionate, individualized treatment, we provide relief from the debilitating symptoms of mental illness. Our hospitals offer a nurturing space for you to focus on healing.

Addiction

Through an integrative approach that encourages active participation, family involvement, ongoing education and community resources, our hospitals’ addiction treatment programs offer hope for long-term recovery.

Co-Occurring Disorders

When addiction and mental disorders go hand in hand, they must be addressed at the same time for treatment to be effective. That’s why our hospitals offer specialized treatment programs for individuals diagnosed with co-occurring issues.
