In 2015, according to the National Institute of Mental Health, there were an estimated 43.4 million adults aged 18 or older nationwide with a diagnosable mental illness in the previous year. That translates to 17.9 percent of all U.S. adults—and didn’t even include those with substance use disorders.
The challenge looms large—and it requires expert help if any solutions are to be found.
Haven Behavioral Healthcare greatly values the contributions of medical professionals of all types.
We know that sometimes expert, specialized help is required. That’s why we’re happy to work with area organizations, physicians, psychiatrists and other professionals to deliver the best treatment for each patient. We value a collaborative, team-based, clinically proven approach, and welcome the opportunity to share insight, strategy and fresh approaches in the journey toward health.
Each day, we practice under the goals of excellence, stewardship, passion, respect and vision. You can be confident that any patient referred to us will receive the latest in compassionate care. Depending on the Haven facility, options might include inpatient treatment, partial hospitalization or intensive outpatient treatment. We also provide each patient a complete assessment, medication evaluation and stabilization, followed by a coordinated return home or to a lower level of care.
Our multidisciplinary teams might include, for example, nurses, social workers and therapists. A psychiatrist is the attending physician, but additional medical professionals may be brought in to meet special needs. This allows for a coordinated, structured and comprehensive approach.
You can be certain that the journey will be the right treatment for the right patient at the right time.
We look forward to hearing from you and helping your patient move forward with hope, health and wellness.
